This look about right? 140xxx not really sure if the diff's have ever been changed. It doesn't really smell too bad (not near as bad as the 81' I have).

Just to be sure?. The front diff and T case DO NOT need the gear oil with the LSD additive, correct?

 

06 Sport with the LSD.

I'm good with this right? It has the LSD additive (that's funny to me ).

Edit: I put just under 3 QT's in the rear diff befor it leaked out the fill plug.

That's pretty good , what they give you for your truck ? How many miles you have ?

 

18000 for my truck.. and it had 111,687 miles.. my new truck has 22 miles it took to get it home

Well honestly I just did it on a spur of the moment.. I drive by the dealership every day. And saw it on the trailer.. so I watched it for two days and decide to just see what my truck was worth. I pushed them a lot and really made it to my advantage.. but it took a lot of.. "I don't need this.. its just a want... if you cant really get close to my 250/month request then I'll just keep my 2wd".. but the dealerships are needing to move the 15s so the 16s can come in

When I do. I want just a strong 2in lift.. nothing crazy for cv joints.. control arms.. nothing crazy.. just need to do my lift research again

(Shoulda stuck with the 83' and the Prerunner) IMHO.

 

Oh I just like to get others opinions/advice.. I know what I can swing but always like to consult the veteran members who been there.. making sure I wasn't getting ripped off for what i was looking for

 

Haha.. sorry Rob.. I was gonna walk at 310/month.. 289 I could never get a truck payment that low
.. I looked into it.. the 83 with taxes and adding insurance on it.. I would be out of more money in long run.. plus girlfriend didn't approve of 83.. and living with her acceptance so that I can get green light once we are married to mod this truck.. this way all in one and she loves it..
