Look what came in the mail! I'm trying to find the time to put it on, hopefully this weekend.

 

Be careful with blue lights facing forward from the vehicle. That would get you pulled over in a heartbeat around my area. Looks great though!

What did you do to backlight that? That is exactly what I was going for...

 

love that led back lighting where is the switch for it can it be run off a rigid switch so I can mount it in the cab? I also mocked up this picture to see what it would like if the letters were white

 

What I did is used anti scratch plexiglass glass "Lowes", behind the letters and apoxy 'd it. Then bought 4 Oznium 4-chip Ice-White leds. For as little as they are they are BRIGHT. You can turn it on by switch or wire it up to the marker lights...I'm thinking I will use those all over underneath for Rock lights.. db

 

How does the grill look when the leds are turned off??

Ok, I've been drooling over these since the thread started, and can't hold back any more...

DB, do you have any photos of the letters with the Army Green color? I wonder if it would be weird to have green on a magnetic grey truck?

Also, guys is there any practical use for the light bar for a street-only truck? I don't want to be a poser haha... but then again, maybe I'll use it as an excuse to get into roading... shoot like I need another expensive hobby. Btw, I assume it can't have a light bar and lettering... will need to choose between the two.

Maybedave, I can add the letters above the lightbar.. You can do TOYOTA or TACOMA...db

 

I use my light bar to light up the road and side to make sure I can see all the deer when driving home at night when there is no one driving at me
