Nicely done, lol just don't try to park on your roof. I was able to play around a bit with my camera angle to get my lines closer to where they should be.

Throw on some spacers to angle it down and you're golden. Nicely done!

clean it real good. i used old 10kmile diesel oil from our passat tdi, stuck it in that $10 bug sprayer from lowes and sprayed it on,inside and out, everywhere, as far as i could into the boxed part of the frame took rag and wiped the excess everywhere.

probably not the professional answer you were looking for but up here in the north east its a necessity, and it works, ill do another application before the roads start to get treated, just wanted to do it now for a base coat while the truck is new. Also yesterday i sprayed over all the welds in the frame and the rear diff with rustolium flat black.

I recently painted over all the rust with rust primer and some black paint and some parts I clearcoated. I'm gonna use the oil method or use fluid film. Good stuff

    Thanx!

The parking lines don't bother me much, as long as I can see the objects behind me. I thought bout spacers but rather the mount be flush to the bumper. I would consider a solid wedge sort of mount to get the angle down but realized that there was zero room for angle for the wiring harness to clip to the back of the camera through the thickness of the plate bumper.

Plate bumper! I got AllPro's high clearance steel bumper when i got rear-ended. Ended up being a bit cheaper than the OEM Toyota bumper but I had to paint it myself.

Finally got the lights wired in Thursday. Didn't get it chance to take pics until last night. Sorry for the bad cell phone pics.

    Just the LEDs
    [IMG]
    LEDs and high beams
    [IMG]
They don't project the light as far as I thought they would, but they are only 18 watts per light (3 watt per LED), so...:notsure:
They look better in the middle of the grill, and they fit perfect.

just put 3876 miles on the 2005 Tacoma from a road trip to Northern Maine on vacation!!! and hit 198000 miles on the way home!! No problems other than the rear shocks kept "bottoming out' as it was loaded down with gear.....which I am buying a fix for the shocks today!!!;)

Subaru makes very nice vehicles.

It's stupid that somehow they have this false persona of being the go to car for hippies and lesbians/gays.
