I'm currently on the fence about what to do with my exhaust. I don't mind running just 1 cat, but i do want to make sure I have enough restriction to my air flow so as to maintain good low-end torque. I may go down a bit in mandrel size.. Not sure yet if I want to run the stock muffler (bit rusty) or run a flowmaster or run no muffler.. I have an OME suspension kit with dakars so leaf clearance is an issue with the exhaust.. I may kick the exhaust out the side. Really unsure of what I want to do at this point. If I throw a CEL I don't mind doing the radio shack resistor mod to fix it. Also, I should add that I have no SMOG to worry about:)

Any thoughts on what to do with my exhaust? Only thing I care about is that my pipes don't hit my leaf pack and that I don't lose any low-end torque. Other than that, no shits given. Fuck high-end HP, I drive a truck. Don't give a single shit about noise, a little rumble won't upset me in any way, just don't want to have suspension clearance issues or lose my low-end!

Yeah there are a lot of different routes you can take. I would run the flowmaster to give the exhaust a better sound. Shit can the first cat since you don't have to worry about smog. Add the pipe extension. Cut your tail pipe off right past the axle so it dumps there and your leafs are clear from the exhaust pipe. If you throw a CEL then add the Sim. Make sure you have a good connection with the sim and wires. If the sim doesn't work URD sells one but its over 100. its a plug in. No wire cutting or soldering. Good Luck hopefully however you do it. It works out.

I had a LAPD helicopter observing my apartment building after seafoaming my engine in the parking lot. :spy:

All part of finally getting my Taco to finally idle. I replaced the IAC and at the same time cleaned the throttle body. Also did new spark plugs and fuel filter. The filter is A LOT easier with with the intake off.

Well today I prepared my "new to me" 4Runner leather seats. They were a bit dirty from sitting in a parts yard (finally found a yard full of Tacos, pre-Tacos and 4Runners), but I was able to use some Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner to make them like new.

    Whaddaya think, look good?

@m3bassman Those pics are great, looks like one hell of a time. When's the next adventure?

Looks good! I cant remember. Did you just bent the bottom mounting bracket to get it to fit or swap the rails?

I just got my 4runner seats and just seeing what i need to do.

I'll let you know for sure tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure all that's needed is to bend the front outer mount down and lengthen the existing hole to provide enough area for the bolt to go in.
