Mine is doing the same that's why it's time for a new one.

 

Hopefully things work out for you. I know it sucks to have to go from one thing to another until you find what you like. Only to have it taken away.

 

What would have been shitty is if you modded it (nice suspension, bumpers or even a SAS) and then have that happen.

If they'll tear apart and rebuild a buddy's 4 runner engine for going through 5' of water, I think you may be getting a new truck. Hopefully it'll be an even trade with nothing out of pocket. Maybe even an extended warranty?

 

I have a buddy trying to move his girlfriend in town. He said he wants me to help because I have a truck and can carry more. I told him he has a hitch and to rent a u-haul trailer for $20.

I'm such a good friend.

 

Yup. The trailers are based on day use. Not mileage.

Last time I helped someone move, they left some wonderful scrapes in the bed. That's why I'm weary. I need to cut out the bed mat Dennis gave me.

When I moved in with my girlfriend, I hired someone.

But I also lived on the 3rd story of an apartment complex and had way too much crap. Took them 4 hours to get it from point a to b. And it rained a bit, too.

 

They won't give him a new truck. They would rather swap the motor out before they do that
