First post to Tacoma World and the 2016 will be my first Tacoma after a long run with an Xterra! I've see a lot of people posting that they ordered new TRD models with the "Premium" and "Technology" packages. Does any one know what exactly each of these options packages include and roughly what each will cost? Also, is the moonroof a standalone option or is it part of one of the above mentioned packages? Thanks! Looking forward to making the switch to the new Tacoma!

Straight from the dealers order sheet.... Note this is from a 2016 TRD Off Road Double Cab build.

the leaked pricing had it at 3600 for the Prem&Tech w/JBL, so that's nicer I guess.

I wonder if that 3600 package has all the same stuff as the above pictured package, but a more upgraded JBL sound system? That or maybe Toyota did us a solid and lowered the price? Haha

I think just crossing the 3k mark makes it appear expensive but there are a lot of other vehicles out there that if you add these similar options, the cost is about the same to add those options.

    I'm ok with that price.

Standard equipment on the TRD Off Road includes the Entune Audio w/Integ Nav & App Suite. Dual Climate control is apparently part of the premium package.

So push button start doesn't come with the technology and premium packages? I would rather have that than a moonroof personally. Oh well, not a big deal if that's the case.

Sorry I have only built the TRD Offroad as that is what I am ordering and I also have not done any research on the Sport so I can't be certain. Im sure someone on the forum will have a build sheet posted on a TRD Sport soon if they have not already.

The MSRP on my build came to $38,524 which included Premium, Towing, and the Carpet Floor Mats and Door Sill option which If I can remove will save me a whopping $209!

    Base Price: 33730
    Options: 3894
    Delivery Processing and Handling: 900
    Total 38524

I am trading a vehicle in so Im expecting a really good trade in value on my Jeep Wrangler. Deal has not been finalized yet.

Yeah the prices of the trucks are steep nowadays. And that's across all manufacturers

It looks like both HH (Premium & Tech) and FP (Premium & Tech + JBL) options are available according to Tubesock's build sheet https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2016-paint-and-interior-color-codes.388055/ , but the only price that I've seen is for FP and that's the $3,035 seen above. That's almost $600 less than the Leaked price, so I hope HH is cheaper as well.
