Sounds like fun, I'm sure we'll meet up before winter sets in.

TW made me think of it when everyone else was doing it. I figured 3rd gen 4Runner seats would work better for me anyway because my other seats don't have dedicated seat belts (they are a separate piece on pre-Tacos and 2nd gen runners) so I had them sorta bodged in. The seats were comfortable though, but I like the feel and non clothes grabbyness of the leather more.

Same, saw that everybody was doing it. Looked on the CL and found some out of a 2002 that were 10 min away and got them for $40.

Got home and cleaned the heck out of them with one of those upholstery cleaners and they look great now! Cant wait to swap them in.

But realized after, you said in your original post you didn't want to throw money down on mounts....so probably wasn't to much help

No problem at all. Still less than a powertanks mount. I put some liquid nail to the damaged quickfist so we'll see how it turns out tomorrow morning. I'm in a push to get something figured out by then so I can get out tomorrow afternoon.

Nothing yet. Better to have it and not need it in my book. Plus I got it cheap really.

Yea..summer was killer fast. Didn't wheel near enough.

Gotcha, yeah same reason for me too. Don't think I could tow anything with my truck but it's a good recovery point and has saved my bumper from a rear ending too.

Fix your truck and on his 17 birth day or Christmas which ever comes first tell him that you had to use his bday or Christmas gift money to fix what he broke. Also let him pay for his own repairs. Let him take it to the body shops and let him deal with what a pita it is. Trust me it works. My dad did it to me and I did it to my daughter. He won't like it now but he will appreciate it later.
