I'm a father of 2 (boy and girl). They are both under the age of 2 (same mother, my poor wife :angrygirl:)

Recently my son (1 yo), has been doing some creepy wierd things and I thought it would be funny and enlightening to hear what wierd and creepy things your children have done.

Should I be worried if my son only likes to eat the heads off his animal crackers and then just leave the bodies laying around?

Oh man. I don't even know where to start. There's the bucket of decapitated Lego men, the collection of hawk feathers he protects like heirlooms, The naming every single live bug he finds and asking to bring it inside, his affinity for bats, his best friend; a Halloween decoration called "Mr. Skull", whom he likes to eat Cheerios from its eye sockets, and the time he & Mr. Skull did this to scare his mom:

my kid eats his animal crackers head first too. He's actually not that macabre but he has a lot of tendencies. He's curious like any toddler. Perhaps he gets it from me. I'm a big classic horror fan and we have a lot of stuff around the house like a framed family portrait of the Munsters hanging in our living room, classic horror movie posters, etc. He loves the Creature from the Black Lagoon. There was that one Halloween where we dressed as The Munsters:

And he keeps an autographed picture of Eddy Munster by his bed:

My son, who is now 8, used to get night terrors when he was 2/3yrs old.

If you have kids and have experienced these, like me, I am sure it freaked you out too. I have never seen, heard, or felt anything like it. They only lasted a short time in his life and he doesn't get them anymore (his sister, now 5, never had them).

It is creepy to see a small child who is dead asleep, act that way.

Growing up my little brother got them and my father did as well when he was a kid. I never got them, but my son is starting to show signs of them now and he is only 1 year old.

He will wake up suddenly and just scream. Nothing calms him. He's very much awake but doesnt seem to acknowledge us or even know we are there. Only thing that seems to calm him down the fastest is to hold him infront of the TV with his cartoons on and even then he's still screaming but it's quieter.

Thomas the Train was the only remedy for my boy.

The eyes open, fully unaware, and screaming sleep really kind of bugged me out.

I did some reading up on it when someone mentioned "night terrors" to me when this was going on. There really is nothing you can do, but try to calm them. He grew out of them shortly.

Yeah its quite the scene when he gets them. My little brother use to walk around and flush every toilet in the house. He earned the nickname "Plumber".

I sleep walk, and have since I was little. My older brother told me one time I came downstairs into the kitchen, opened up the lower cabinet where mom kept the pots and pans, and tried to pee in there. He says he pinched it off for me and ran me into the bathroom. He said when I was done I just went back to bed like nothing ever happened.
