Please elaborate haha... I would love a locked differential in 2WD HIGH. Great for leaving nice black strips and snow drifting, because at the end of the day I bought this truck to have fun with, take me places and most importantly... DRIVE!

36" tires on a fully loaded armored truck going up a rocky terrain with the locker engaged all day in double low gear. 2hi locked flying through the trails, 4hi locked flying through the trails. I've had it completely submerged in water, ice, been beaten by countless rocks. Sure I wouldn't be surprised if it broke but that's why I carry a spare.

Thank you forgetting 2010+ figured out on this mod. Which wire did you tap for powering the relays? I am going to do this soon on my 11 thanks to you, but I just recently saw you had accomplished this

I've heard that a TW member is working on a turnkey installation for the 2LO mod. Does anyone have information on this?

It's a plug and play 2lo module that requires no cutting, splices or wired connections to be made. Works on a similar principle to the mod in this thread. The first real prototype will go into testing this month, but probably won't be available for everyone until spring time to allow for any fine tuning and tweaking.

    Found your post!
I am psyched about this, consider me subbed. I'm also taking a good hard look at the heated mirror upgrade. You are an asset to the community sir!

I'm pretty excited about it too, it's been a bit of a long haul on that project. The plan all along has been to make it feel very much like an OEM option when done. Once I get a bit further along I'll probably create a thread, I don't want to muddy up the waters in this one as it is a good DIY thread.

Check update here on this thread. Still in prototype phase, unsure on prospects for 3rd gen.

Do we know if the front driveline will still be turning with this mod, (spider gears etc)? Or is this actual 2 Lo?

Front driveshaft still turns. Front axle actuator is bypassed.
