I went from a 2010 Toyota Matrix to my current Tacoma. Before that I had a 94' 4cyl Toyota pickup with the 22-RE for 16 years. (Pre Tacoma)
The Matrix was a good commuter car and got good MPG but other than that I hated it. It felt like I was driving a tin can. Felt every single bump on the road, no power, and lousy for road trips. Very small inside.
Aside from the loss fuel efficiency, there is no downside to going to the Tacoma. Love it.

2007 Saturn Ion.. I couldn't wait to get rid of that thing. Aside from gas mileage, everything about my 2014 DCSB is better.

Ditched my super reliable 2005 Camry SE with like 60k miles on it for my 2015 DCLB Tacoma. :) Love my truck. Sure the Camry moved a little bit faster... but I enjoy driving my truck more.

Although the Tacoma is making my wallet bleed. lol

Went from a 2001 Rav4 and a 1990 volvo 240 wagon to my 2003 Tacoma. I love the Tacoma, and living in Vermont I got it for dirt because it had a rotten bed. Everything else was fine. New frame, leaf springs, gas tank, and everything. Just flat bedded it and I couldn't be happier. I did miss the volvo though, so I bought an 88 740 turbo sedan with a blown up rear end and trans and after a little while got it back on the road. So now Ive got 2 rigs I couldn't be happier with :)

2014 Subaru WRX to 2012 Taco... I miss some things but very excited about the truck so it evens out. I miss the great breaking, acceleration, handling, styling. But Love the new ability to go places I couldn't, tow, haul. Worked out.

2003 Camry to a 2013 Tacoma. I do miss the fuel economy of my Camry but the truck is better in every other way.

I don't know if this counts, but ai always had Toyota trucks for nearly thirty years. Then, we got. 4Runner in 2004. After 10 years of really liking that car, we were ready to buy a new. We could not pull the trigger on a new 4 Runner given how much they are but bought a Taco OR in 2014 instead. I like the truck.....but to tell the truth, I would rather have a 4Runner.

Bought a 2015 Accord Sport when I graduated college because I thought it'd be the best practical car I could buy.

Practical wasn't fun and I couldn't do everything I wanted to so I traded it in about 6 months later.

I get worse gas mileage now sure, but now I have a solid truck that can do everything in my lifestyle.

The Accord was a great car and I'd recommend it to anyone needing a car, but I'm just not a car person.

I do miss the car I had before my taco but I'm still happy with my choice. 03 wrx sedan to 14 taco access cab. I miss the stability through corners, occasional back seat use, limited body roll, low center of gravity, and 30mpg highway mileage. The full time awd was nice also for times when the roads were mixed conditions. The sound was a lot better due to the exhaust note and turbo sounds.

92 Toyota pickup in high school that my dad still currently has, loved it, 01 Jetta for college/commuting. Wasn't horrible but missed a truck. In 09 I traded it for my current 2009 Tacoma.

I went from a 91 Legend coupe to my Baja. When I was on the market for a new vehicle it was either a Tacoma or an RT Challenger at the time. Went to a few Toyota dealerships around the Bay Area looking for any CPO DC OR editions. Came across the Baja and that was it. Didn't even test drive a Challenger or set foot into a Dodge dealership. Haha "NO RAGRETS"

I had a 2011 WRX before my 2015 Taco. I miss the WRX at times but I love the truck. No ragrets ...

I'll probably pick up a cheap sports car when i get some spare cash.
