Thanks for the hookup for camping in Boone. Didn't get there until after 10. All the obvious spots were already taken up. We kept driving down the road until it turned to trails. Bounced our way down the hill in street tires, trying to avoid sharps in the dark. Came to near the bottom where there was a mud pool that I couldn't figure the depth on. Figures that was far enough with out a buddy, winch, hi lift or even a tow strap.
Set up mini camp under the soft topper. Darker than India ink. Put a tarp over the truck like old times. Listened to the wild life for a while before finally falling out. Woke at 5:00 to a thunderstorm. Crazy morning. Sun came out and broke camp.
Remembered to take a pic just before leaving.

 

I didn't figure there would be anyone out there. At the bottom of the "trail" at the T-intersection there is another camping spot on Roseboro Rd. Glad you found a spot.

 

of course I watched! Didn't get to go over there, but I went to buffalo wild wings and watched the first half with a buddy of mine. First team of the Phins looked awesome! Not so much for the first team of the Panthers... lol

 

But who won? Lol

 

It was painful to watch. Ryan kalil got hurt too I was facepalming.

 

Lol it's preseason, it doesn't matter.

I know! I got scared cause Jamar Taylor left with a quad injury. We don't need these injuries!

Just for perspective the land cruser behind it has 3" lift and basically 34's

 

And he needs a rack to see how much higher he can send his COG?

If I sell my Icon C/O and rear resi shocks, would anyone be interested?

Or should I stick with them? I'm thinking about FOX now, just thinking of something different. Give me your thoughts guys.

yeah i got you. that would be a good price. Why the switch to fox though?

 

I do a lot of road miles, my wife says it gets really bumpy in slow speeds (which its b/c it's a degressive c/o), and when I have driven off-road it's not fast drivin it's around 15-20 mph. I'm wondering if I switch it would be a good idea to go to a progressive c/o.

Westin 3 tab light bar (fits 2nd gen tacos)
Factory side step bars (2nd gen taco)
Used rear 5100s for 4runner/FJs
Behind seat cubbys (double cab)
Rear 4x4 mud flaps (2nd gen taco)

I need to clear out some room in my garage!
