Has anyone heard a date for the 2016s to hit the lot?
A couple dealers in my area said September all the way to November.
Anything after September seemed really late to me and local dealers inventory is getting smaller and smaller.

Looks like the Toyota Annual Clearance Event runs through the day after Labor Day (Sept 8th).

    http://www.toyota.com/local-specials/

Timing wise, that might be why Toyota is saying the 2016 will start arriving in showrooms around September 10th.

The 3 we have coming in are scheduled to come the second week to middle of September. Thats in the Northeast. Scheduled build date of the 2nd, usually 2 weeks after build date to come in

Even if they were our no fat chance they would offer any deals on them anyway.
The dealers would probably tack on an extra 3 grand as a "market adjustment" because they had some on the lot lol

Agreed on the market adjustment on the 2016. Toyota probably wants to move as many 2015s through Sept. 8th and then have the 2016 Tacoma hit the showrooms.

I've seen build dates in Aug. Dealer said 2-3 wks after build date. At 3 weeks, mine should show up Sept 9. But I don't expect anything until after Labor Day weekend anyways. I should have an update on mine tomorrow afternoon.

I've been checking vins that have been posted here and none have shown they have been built yet.

I have access to TIS. Gives build date and options in VIN inquiry.

Build is when it rolls off the assembly line. Then 2 to 3 wks to get to dealership. Train ride, goes to Long Beach then onto a truck down here to San Diego! BTW, just got my MSRP for the DCLB TRD Sport. $33,099.00. So the base price on the sheet posted on this forum is spot on $32,165(Base + 900 Delivery) then $650 tow pkg, $209 pretty floor mats and $75 Spare tire lock. Still waiting for tracking update.

Well crap, followed up on my pre order today from a couple weeks ago TRDsport dcsb and the dealership showed build date of October 1st. Any one else see such late build dates?

Man that's a while to sit on them. Was hoping to get mine, with a build date of 9/16, by the end of September.

It is just the dealer's guess. who the hell knows what the reality is? Plus, I plan on having all kinds of shit added to it so that could take time.
You know this little delay could result in me purchasing a 2015. If they seriously discount them, then I would consider buying a 2015 and adding some 2016 options to it.
