Why do I buy PMs?????

If gold is no good why is 300 year old money not worth anything but 300 year old gold coins are worth a fortune???? Because gold is the real money and paper or digital dollars just represent a % of gold, or a promise for gold and that promise has been broken.... When this comes to a head PMs will be the best way to preserve your wealth over time ....

So if all paper money goes to 0 how ling before the current dollar is worth 0.....

For the first time I realized that chart is wrong the dollar is loosing more value per day now not when there was a gold standard.... Sorry about that, bad info...

Will look more like this chart if you invert it....

Gas was around 25 cents for 100 years until Nixon took us off the gold standard that's when the dollar started loosing it's value.... There is almost unlimited oil and they still can't keep the price down.....

 

Hey Steve, you ever heard of Jim Rickards? He is another guy who knows his stuff and wrote 2 great books (Currency Wars, and Death of Money).

DOW got hit hard today. Its cool, something I’m accustomed to owning PMs. Yet, I keep coming back for more.

Yes, he is one of the guys I listen to a lot... It's funny when people say there's not a currency war, makes me think of Jim Rickards....

I want to keep posting some of the better vids I listen to for everyone....

Placed my PMs monthly purchase last night.... 1/2 oz gold eagle and some Somali Elephants.... I feel silver is the best buy of any asset we can buy but I have a good stack of silver and there are very few gold coins produced so they may be hard to get in the future.... like they keep saying if you want you better get it now....

The Somali Elephants are low production and they are currently the same price as eagles and maples, so I going to see what happens, hopefully they have some numismatic value...

 

Down 530 to day, down 1100 for the week and down almost 1900 from the peak in may.....

I'm up 25% in SDOW one of the scariest and bravest trades I've made and I think I nailed it bought around 18150 just before the peak but we'll see....

 

401K tips......... "Not investing advice"........

Find your cash option and move some money into cash during or before a real crash.... You won't make anything but you won't loose anything either and when it bottoms out hard enough buy back in.... I'm 66% cash and 34% mining stocks and min contribution.... Waiting for mining stocks to turn the corner but at these prices some will go out of business if price don't go up soon....

But to really know what's going on you have to listen to alternative media and subscribe to an investing news letter..... Yin and yang....
And look at the real data..... When china was up 120% no one said anything but now that it's down all they talk about is how bad they are doing....

You have to be your own financial manager and take some time every month to plan and re plan.... Make small bets on a regular basis... I have bought on every silver dip for 2 years and have much more silver and have lowered my cost average a ton.... Same thing with stocks, all in is not a good plan, watching and picking your spots to buy and if it goes good keep adding to the position if not cut your losses and move on......

We need to keep helping each other........

Yes, its perfect timing. The DOW may close positive again, but overall the trend will be down and down and down. Its not gonna recover!

Great tips on 401k, mines been moved out since end of last year where it don’t gain or loose.

Yes, it always recovers. This time around I don’t believe its gonna start a long term incline as normal. Recovery is not gonna take place in months, maybe year or years. We will just have to wait and see.

Ok, PM’s and currency stuff aside. I’m just gonna say striclty on the market and whats gonna play out.
I’M NO FINANCIAL EXPERT, THIS IS ONLY THE WAY I’M CALLING IT. Its gonna sound crazy.

1. A downward trend started already, its not gonna recover.
2. All markets down, possible Dow will reach triple digits when it bottoms. This may happen and go into 2016 when & if it does.
3. Recovery(after bottoms out) is not starting back up like were accustomed to seeing, its gonna stay down for more than a year. Maybe 2-3 or more.

If what I’m believing is gonna happen in scenario 1-3, I will totally pass up on buying back in. Now come in PM’s and definitely I would start to buy up much more than I have now.

What is y’alls speculation of markets in the coming months or years?

 

I expecting a moderate correction, but I will know more when markets open tomorrow. But it will be a while before I buy back in.

Like I keep saying, shift your money out of stocks to PMs, land anything but stocks right now..... This will take at least a year to play out, this is just the start, a few weeks early....

Be prepared for bank closing, money, food, meds (get off all medication through nutrition), water and all the little essentials... Just have extra on hand.....

I go home for lunch and I'm on the phone warning friends and boom my silver shows up... Good day for a PMs delivery.......
