Well I spent that $200 on hookers a cocaine. The wife was not happy at all. So I will have to wait for the next group buy.

OK close your mouths I am jk. We actually just celebrated our 25 year anniversary and it went so well that I ordered two set of hood struts. Just ordered two plus kits one for my Taco and one for my sons Taco. Lily little shit gets his license in 4 days and he is gonna have hood struts. I've been propping a rod for 27 years and that boy gets hood struts on day one. Then again he is a 3.6 GPA student and plays three sports. I played three sports but my GPA was south of 1.9.
Thanks Ramon for your hard work on the group buys.

Installed them today. I accidentally put the wrong brackets on top first, so I had to drill the rivets out and redo them. I went ahead and riveted the bottom brackets as well. Instructions tell you to simply use the provided screws on the bottom brackets because it's harder to fit a rivet gun in that tight area, but I managed.

Hmmm, I didn't think to take a pic earlier. I'll try to remember to get one tomorrow. The rivets works great down there. They're a little angled in due to the tight fit, but they feel solid.

Yeah me neither. I had to replace the original 4 rivets anyways, so I bought a big pack of 50 rivets, so I figured "why not?"

So I have a 2013 and there was a malleable material over some welds where these brackets on the bottom mounted. Just cut it off and mounted over the welds. I will say I measured 4 times and I used a level to make sure I was where I needed to be and when I went to hook it up the passenger side is a little higher like 1/3 inch maybe. At first I freaked out then I cycled them and it seems to be good a little bit lower than stock by 1/2" but again this is all speculative. They work well and I like the struts a lot the install overall was one of the easiest mods I have done thank you!

Ummmm... what do you mean 1/2" lower than stock? The hood when it closes???

I have a set on my 2005 'Stang from MRT, I don't remember drama with rivets and height issues... but all these TW members can't be wrong, and I love the struts on my Pony! Therefore...

@ramonortiz55, I am in! I just ordered a "Plus" set. I wonder if I am the last TW member to get in on the GB? :) :)

Just got around to opening mine. While the package shipped quickly, I was disappointed to find a QuickLIFT PLUS set rather than the ELITEs for which I paid. Sending an email for exchange instructions, but I welcome feedback from Andreas...
