Looks cool, I guess they have irregular hours? Have to call to see when they are open. You thinking about checking it out soon?

Idk maybe I'm up to try out anywhere really just looking for something easy not really interested in doing anything that will risk scratching or banging up my truck.

They might have some easy trails, don't know. Give them a call maybe?

Yeah that's most likely what I'll end up doing it seems like it's a pretty big place so I imagine they will have some easier ones too.

It's hard in the woods not get scratches and such, just FYI. Unless their trails are really groomed and wide. KY pinstripes are inevitable if your in the woods much.

Well, it's certainly hard for your yeti of a truck not to get scratches Greg!

Hahah I don't know that it would be possible to find less groomed trails than some of the ones we were on at Wills...

That's just a bit south of where I live. We've got a few of us talking about doing a ToyotaWorld get-to-gather sometime in mid to late October. At the moment, we're kicking the can around about going to black mountain. But that isn't carved in stone. I'll do a little research on Blue Holler too and pass along what I find out. LOTS of fire roads and back roads in Mammoth Cave National Park area (close to Blue Holler) I'm hoping to have new tires on my truck by October, but in the interim, I'm more or less "stock". (3" lift w/stock rubber)Not looking to get into anything too "epic" until the rubber gets swapped.

So far all I've been able to find out about Blue Holler is that the folks that ride side-by-sides LOVE the place. There are a few You Tube video's showing Jeeps but very little info on their website. I'll call 'em this week while I'm on vacation. Blue Holler is a LOT closer to home than Harlan. Let me see what I can find out about the place. My niece is married to a guy who rides a RZR there. I'll try to get in touch with him and get his impression of the place.

We did a recon run on Blue Holler this past Thursday. What I now know; It is incredibly easy to get to. Just about a 1/2-hour off I-65 at exit 71 (Bonnieville) Follow Hwy 728 (through several turns) and you're there! Trails are wide enough for Tacoma's. (Most anyway) After 3" of rain in the 2 days prior, it was sloppy muddy. Probably won't get dusty dry again this year.... All the big mud holes I saw had a way around them. (Did I mention I don't like deep mud and water?....Killed too many of my 4wds over the years) We got there about noon Thursday. No one else there, so we didn't do much more than take a quick look. (No one to sign us in) From what I hear and what we saw, I expect you could cover most all the trails in 2 or 3 hours. Not a bad place to play around for an afternoon though.....and it's close to home. With daylight hours down significantly this time of the year, I like close to home....(Did I mention I don't care so much for road trippin' @ night?)

OK...Several of us planning an all out assault on Blue Holler on November 21st (Saturday) More details to follow (in the Official Central Ky Thread)

So far I have 3 going for sure. A lot of "maybe's" because of proximity to Thanksgiving.

Also starting to gather interest in an early to mid December ride to Black Mountain. May do Saturday or Saturday Sunday run. Still looking at dates and seeing who might be interested. Contact me through this thread or PM if you have any questions or ideas.
