I've had them installed for 3 years now. No issues up untill it broke last weekend. Even if they can't do anything about it I might still send it to them. It broke right on the outside edge of the welds on both the top and bottom. They need to put a gusset there like the icon tubular UCA's have

I'll talk to them on Monday and see what they say. I like those but I've been wanting to go with all icon suspension, just had no reason to spend the money... Now I do.

Not sure when they did the revision. These are 3 years old. Got them from Toytec, invoice says LR-25470

Both times I've dealt with them for warranty issues they've been extremely helpful. If you don't want to wait as long send them an email from the contact page with as much information as possible and include a copy of the receipt if possible. They will call you or email pretty quickly monday morning and hopefully resolve your issue.

That's good to hear. I'll have to send them an email today with the pictures and the invoice. Thanks

Yeah pretty certain that model # has stayed the same throughout the different revisions

Wow. This thread is rather unnerving. I had LR UCAs on my shortlist of upcoming mods. Now I'm not so sure :/. What other sub $500 options are out there for UCAs? I'm running 5100s and OME 884s up front. I want to stay within tolerance for alignments.

I'm 85% on road. Off roading is usually farm related (hunting, camping, hauling debris, etc). So, nothing intense. No crawling or jumping. What are the pros and cons?

The pics posted most recently with the washers on both sides of the arm are the old design. I was told by spc that this design pinched the arm too much and was causing the weld to snap. The most recent design has one washer on each end of the arm, this design should have 2 washers per arm not 4.
With all that said I'm not sure how many of the newer ones have snapped at the weld.

Yep , the old style could allow for rotational forces to be transfered to the arms at the location shown in the pics above

So I emailed the company last night and told them my issue with the broken UCA. They got back with me this morning and just asked for pictures. After I sent them the pictures they said its the old style with the 4 washers and that they are prone to binding so they will send me a new set. Great customer service! I don't go off-road often and for the 3 years that I had those I didn't have any issues up until it broke, so I'll continue to use them!

Thanks for the info! I had the 4 washer design and changed a damaged bushings on the driver's side after a hard hit a few months ago. I still have a new bushing kit for the other side so I'll change it ASAP!

Below is the older style with 4 washers VS the new one with 2.

Yea they were great with the customer service. Emailed them on Sunday, they got back to me Monday morning and I had the new parts on Thursday. Just spent all day installing the new ones. The truck seems to ride smoother and is softer on bumps, probably because the old ones kept binding up. I like it. Thanks SPC!

Just shoot them an email anyway. Their customer service is outstanding. I'm sure they will still help you out... Depending on how it broke. Good luck

No recipt no go..... they are real strict on their warranties. I purchased some BRAND new spc arms from a member on here and one of boots had a defect in them. Even with the original receipt and the original person talking to them they wouldnt ship new boots to me.

Yes they needed a receipt, or it's a no go. Luckily I found it! Now a pair of brand new UCAs are heading to me!
