Anyone know if the TRDs (or any for that matter), have the feature that takes incoming text messages and reads them to you?

I'd hope the new model does that with no problem considering my 2015 does it.

    It's not hard apparently.

Pretty please with a Multi terrain select and CRAWL control on top?

Any voice connection to Siri will read incoming messages. I get the same thing through my Bluetooth earpiece, but it doesn't have a button on the steering wheel. I think I prefer hearing them to my one ear than for everyone in the truck.

Odd question, but will the 16' Tacoma have cruise control? I had read a review stating they were disappointed a car made in 2016 did not have it standard.

Whether or not my truck is a 4WD or not was not even asked by my insurance company when setting up a quote.

This dude is claiming that the 2016 has the best brakes of the segment.... And people were bitching about the drum brakes.

This can be true or false but if it's TRUE... I wanna see all those 2016 hate'n douche bags crawl back to their hole.

I'm the intitial interview with Sweers when the 3rd gen tacoma was unveiled he mentioned that the brakes were best in class and that was part of the reason to not upgrade them. Nothing new.

Hey man, what kind of tires do you have on your truck. Love it by the way. Do you have a lift with those tires?

I guess I missed that. Thank You.

But now we heard it from a Toyota rep. So I would give it more credit.

Insurance rates are determined by among other things, cost to replace the vehicle.
Taking two identical trucks, differing only in 4WD vs 2WD, the rates will be higher on the more expensive truck; the 4WD.
As soon as you give your agent your VIN, they know if it's 2WD or 4WD.

My wifes 2015 F150 was cheaper to insure than her 2013 Sonata. Like you said, there are a ton of factors at play.

Looks like 285 duratracs and according to his build thread it's an OME lift using 887 coils.

If you're carrying adults in the back seat of an access cab on a regular basis, you bought the wrong cab.
