Re-badged with OEM black badges. My derping experiment last week ended up looking like ass.

 

Derping is all about multiple light coats. Your new emblems look really good. I'd pull that Toyota off the back though.

 

The black badges look good. I took my derped badges off because the derp was peeling off after every wash. Now I can see where my badges were and it's driving me nuts. Might splurge for a set of the black OEM badges

Do you have the sticky stuff showing where your badges were? Goo gone will take that right off. I did about 4 light coats on my derped emblems and car washes don't do shit to them.

When this truck isn't loved anymore I'll either get V6 4x4 DCLBFTMFW or a full size like an F150.

 

Make sure if you Goo Gone it that you wash and wax the spot afterwards. Also, I've got 2 coats of derp on my rear bumper, applied almost 3 years ago, and it stands up to 1900psi from a pressure washer.

 

Just ordered some TC cam tabs. When they arrive the work will begin.
