Don't be fooled. If you do buy an electric S/C do not buy tires from treadwright.com the tread will roll right off the cases like toilet paper.

Has anyone actually purchased this product? I've heard of some of these doing well and others being a ripoff.

I've been looking for a cheap way to get a little extra out of my truck. Any suggestions? I was recently beat in a street race by a v8 BMW and I really would like to change that haha. But I'm also not looking to shell out $4,000 for a supercharger

Depends on your definition of fast. Fast for a V6 truck, yes. Fast compared to a BMW M series, hell no.

Ecoboosts are faster than any other truck on the road. Heck with a little tuning you can make an Ecoboost faster than most sports cars. Different engine though and the new ones with Aluminum panels are much much lighter.
