Yea but not in the forest. My wife and i checked out the sites at Bald Eagle State Park. The park has 2 separate campgrounds, one primitive and one they call modern with electric & water hook ups. The modern cg was like a parking lot, no trees so no shade. But it was close to their beach & marina. The beach was nice with a playground, full facilities and a ice cream shop.

I don't have any children, just my 2 dogs. I didn't see any signs for camping areas in the forest, at least not the area i was in. My wife and i are gonna search online for camping in the forest because we want to go back this fall for a extended weekend.

Can you give us a trailhead entrance area? Did you use a map there or are the trails marked pretty well. Looks like fun

A member here suggested that i purchase a BESF map from Lizard Maps so i used that. This was my 1st trip there, all i know is that i found the dirt roads off of rt.322. Really can't tell you much more than that, i was lost half the time. I can loan you the map if you like.

I can't remember where I camped at when I was there but I just found a spot out of the way and set up camp. I think you can legally camp 1 day in a state forest without obtaining a permit.

Alright, so I called a couple of dealers around and Browns knows about the bearing issue but doesn't have any factory fix. Would cost about $400 for labor. May try to get geico to cover it, but honestly, any idea when we're doing another wrench day? Gotta yank the cv axle out and replace the bearing at the diff.

Do you have a new CV axle yet? I have a very gently used one I'd like to sell. There's a small chance I could lend a hand installing it too. I just got done doing mine and now I'm pretty much an expert at it.

Did you purchase the needle bearing removal tool from ECGS when you got the new bushing?

any good paved trails/parks in southern MD that are good for riding bikes on? I know where all the good mountain biking is, and finding road bike rides is easy, but I just got my fiancé a nice new street hybrid bike, so we're looking for some local riding that keeps us off the streets.
