As of today, my Taco got a little bit of "upgrading". I exited my parking spot and drove down the lane until BAM!!! I look over my left shoulder to find a blue car... right by my window. So I hopped out of the truck and surveyed the damage. Luckily the collision didn't do too much damage, just enough to ruin a good day. Needless to say, my driver's side door is dented pretty good. The guy exiting the spot had backed straight up into my door while I was passing. I'm not exactly sure how fast he backed up because I never did see him inch out before I "attempted" to pass. No one was hurt, so everything turned out okay. Now I just gotta get the truck back to herself. :annoyed: The first day back to college didn't turn out as expected, but such is life. Go ahead and share some of your stories!

I was coyote hunting and trying to cross a field in about 10" of new snow. Not even a dimple in the snow and of course I'm looking for a coyote not a ditch...I did not find a coyote, however, and I hit a knee deep irrigation ditch and tore the front flares off. Managed to crack my fog light housing as well. Pics to follow.

Edit: This is the first try with the RR Ties. Had to build a bridge going forward to get out

Now that is a serious issue. Insurance claim filed??? I'm sure the owner is liable for damage to the shoes right?

I know right! People just need to watch what they are doing, even though that's wishful thinking. :angrygirl:

With help from my dad (He of the "Don't worry theres nothing out here to hit") We wedged some RR Ties under the rear and she crawled right out...Still took a while...Worth the trip regardless

Paying attention to one's surroundings is way to difficult. Why would you do that??

I mean you didn't hit anything, you just tried to crawl into the wrong territory:rofl:. All jokes aside, I'm glad you were able to get out. But the question is, did you get any coyotes?

That's true for sure! It could be way worse. I'm just glad it didn't get on the rockers.

We did end up with a pair of little coyotes. Ironically probably wouldn't have seen them had we been on schedule

Certainly the wrong territory...At least I hit a narrow point in the ditch. I've been back since and a hundred feet to either side would have been worse :fingerscrossed:

^ wise man right there. I could deal with that dent for a while if it meant applying that $$$ towards my loan. Once you have it paid off faster you can save faster for other things, including that fix.
