    1. The crash is starting now
    2. below true value to 5000 or 6000
    3. the bottom will take about a year or so from now
    4. This time may have a slow rebound if they revalue the money or have a new dollar...
    5. If we keep the same dollar inflation will drive the market back up but inflation and taxes will eat the profits.....

How much correction you estimating? I hear some saying even a 20% correction putting dow at 14,680.

Look at the 2008 chart, this is happening again, this is not a correction this is finally the crash..... bottom to 5000-8000 in a year or so.....

A 1000 point drop is not a correction......

O’ I don’t think its a correction either. I was wondering what hetkind was estimating.

I still believe the DOW will be far under 5000-6000 on this crash. I really believe it will reach below 1000.

This is where you apply some tools to the fundamentals, as in you look for the change of the inflection of the rate of change over time, dv/dt, and try to determine what a true bottom is. I am going to wait and see, this morning was quite instructive.

So did I, but who wrote the books? This year will teach you the real economics..... They can produce all the fake numbers they want , print billions of dollars, do illegal trading and recalculate the dow, but the system is maxed out and even they can't fight the market with all their inflated prices, markets will always balance and fiat money always fails....

If we are at 5% unemployment how is the labor participation rate at a 40 year low and GDP and retail sales are so flat???

Gold and silver haven't returned a profit in over 5 years, if many of you feel the market is crashing where do you think you can make money?

Greater question is why does everyone recommend PMs over stocks if all they've done was lose money in the last 5 years when my 401k has made money every single year. Maybe the sky isn't falling?

i don't see much support for it at this point, will it head lower? Yes. Will it cross into single digits? Hard to say.

    I’m no financial expert!!!

For me, I believe the bear market started in August. I bought in about 2-3 weeks ago, I'm holding all the way down under 5000. I would hold on under 1000 if it gets to that, but at this point its possible an economic collapse of this magnitude will bring social turmoil, currency issues, etc. So I will pull out under 5000 or so. Its gonna happen.

Yesterday I gained 14.25%, today another 4.64%. I have a total of 38.66% in gains as of close today.

Are you talking about the Dow Jones? You really think it's going under 5,000?
