Joining this forum was a bad idea! There's so much I want to do to my truck now.

    Day I bought it:

got my wheels spaced 1.25" - went back in the next day to pick out some rims, picked some out and then they tell me I don't need adapters with those rims, because of the backspacing will set them out about the same as the adapters. they won't take them back, and I spent $400 total after lugs and labor, when I could've got rims installed and balanced for $615...

2000 4x4 V6 TRD Automatic ? then you have the best 1st generation model.....nice ! put some RXP in a full tank of gas and use it regulary until you almost finish the tank.... It may not improve the MPG while cleaning it but the next tank you may notice some difference.... let me know if works for you.... I just fill up the tank after the cleaning to see if any difference , so far is smoother.... quieter...

@Tacoma2015 it's a prerunnner, not 4x4 unfortunately. I've used some bottle in my gas i forgot what it was and what brand but its supposed to help that stuff. I've been using pure gas no ethanol and watching my mileage, i don't see a huge difference so far.

Got my Thule tracks and bars installed. Got a Yakima boa bike rack. Pretty stoked the cover will stay open with the bike on it, though I wonder if they make some heavy duty tonneau hydraulics I could replace the stock ones with.

Also did the "make your truck smell good and get in Halloween mood" mod

I would be on the bike with my buddies but old lady pulled out in front of me last weekend and totaled my dual sport.

It's back home in wisconsin, I'm here at Eglin afb for F35 training. So it's only temporary. Ya I miss driving it.
But ya the 285s just arrived back home today, and new rims should be there Thursday.

En route to Oklahoma for the holidays. Truck runs great but it seems to lag behind climbing hills in Arkansas. Always have to get in the right lane
