If its like a tacoma or most other vehicle that is a bolt on itll literally be 4 bolts and 2 gaskets. Way easier than suspension. Will likely be rusted on good but heat and pen oil or a gringer will get you there.

    Easier than suspension work.

i was doing a little bit of research, and there is a front cat and a rear cat. How do you know which you need to replace? or do you just always replace the entire thing?

sorry. never touched the exhaust before.

It's almost always the front cat. You can also just get an 02 sim from URD and hollow out the cat. Better gas mileage is good for the environment!

Ugh that's one thing that's going to suck about Hillsboro. I get to learn all about emissions testing and seeing if this thing passes :censored:

    Gotcha, thanks fellas!

    Are you a daddy yet?

I have a question/need help from you guys. My truck is 10 years old..113,XXX miles and the keyfob is starting to not really work unless I press it hard and multiple times. Last month I said to myself"Oh well, time to use the key to open my doors now" to my surprise, no luck. I tried both driver and passenger side door and it wouldn't budge, no turn no wiggle. I had a spare key that was gray instead of black but I seem to have misplaced it. I tell myself "No worry, I'll order a new key fob off of Amazon and program it myself." The key fob arrives and I haven't had luck programming it these past two days. I follow the instructions to the T with no luck. What do you guys suggest I do?

I do everything up until step 5 as nothing happens:

    1. Start with the key out of the ignition, drivers door is open all others closed and
    drivers door is unlocked.

    2. Perform these steps within 5 seconds.
    A. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out.
    B. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out.

    3. Perform these steps within 40 seconds.
    A. Close then open the drivers door.
    B. Close then open the drivers door.
    C. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out.

    4. Perform these steps within 40 seconds.
    A. Close then open the drivers door.
    B. Close then open the drivers door.
    C. Insert the key into ignition and leave it in ignition.
    D. Close the drivers door.
    E. Turn the ignition to ON (Do NOT Start) then back to OFF.
    F. Remove the key from the ignition.

    5. Within 3 seconds, the power door locks should lock then unlock automatically
indicating successful entry into programming mode.
Return to step 1 if the locks do not cycle at this point.

    6. Perform these steps within 40 seconds.
    A. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remtoe simutaneously for 1.5 seconds.
    B. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons,

Press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door
locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. If
the door locks cycle twice, repeat steps A and B in step 6 as the remote was
    not accepted.

    C. Repeat steps A and B in step 6 for each new remote.
    7. Open drivers door.

Sounds like you need a new fob?

:edit: just noticed you said you just got one from Amazon...

    @Bennett707

Tundra brakes are still rocking. Got to test them out yesterday on the way to work - I was going to go through a yellow light and the guy in front of me chickened out at the last minute.

i imagine it's a good feeling knowing you'll actually stop. ABS scares the shit out of me when it engages.

Yup. Uhaul is so fun to work with. The one near my house didn't have the size I wanted, and simply pointed to their computer monitor for the number of the store across town, rather than make arrangements, call... Anything. I called and reserved, got it for 4pm pickup near work. I got an email at 9pm last night saying my reservation is now in south tumwater, nearly 20 minutes further out, and I have to get it by 12:45pm. If I want to make adjustments, it will cost me $50. Thats some customer service!
