What is everyone's opinion about wheel spacers (1.25-1.5")? Looking at Spidertrax.
Want a little stance on my Tacoma.

Liking mine after 1 month. I did a lift and still running stock wheels and tires. Truck looked like it was tiptoeing until I added spacers.

by any chance you know if i can run a 6" lift using 2" wheel spacers to avoid the upgrade of 18" or greater wheels?

This is what I did to keep my 16" wheels. Been on for over 70K miles with no issues.

I have the 6" Pro Comp, Stage 1 lift. Adding 1.25" wheel spacers push the wheel out just enough so the flipped tie rod ends clear the wheel lip. It clears by just millimeters. With a 2" spacer you should be fine.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
    Wheel bearings - Premature wear.

For me being able to fit wider tires is not worth the cost of more frequent wheel bearing blowout. It's an incredible increase in uneven pressure on the roller bearings. They just are not designed for that uneven distribution. Many forum threads exist on TW discussing this.

    I've seen a picture or 2 on here with 6" lifts & stock wheels/tires.
