Hi guys. I wanted to chime in and introduce myself. My wife and I just moved to Loveland from New Haven. We were out east for school/work the last 6 years. Before that we'd been down in Texas. We've been here in Loveland for about 3 weeks now and no pun intended we love it. We seriously have PTSD from New England and are so happy to be living among nice and normal people again. Hope to meet some of you guys.

I made a little build thread to get some pics up. If you see me driving around wave or say hi. :D

To put it succinctly, the people. :) They are rude for no reason other than they like being rude, and it really shows up on the road. Driving in New England more closely resembles driving in a 3rd world country than any other place in America I've ever been. And its a strange source of pride among the locals how mean and aggressive the driving is. I consider it dangerous and dickish and while I adapted, I hated it. Our mantra when driving around NE was "assume they will do the stupidest/most dangerous thing" when observing other traffic and pedestrians and it proved out over my 6 years there. Also, the amount of taxes you pay you expect a bare minimum of road quality and the roads in NE are the worst. I'd run all my tires with a lower PSI to help with the pot holes.

Oh, and forget dunkin donuts. That place is terrible. :poking:

Other than that I loved being close to Vermont/Maine and the weather was awesome except for the humidity in the summer. The seasons were great and I loved all the snow we had. One time we had 36 inches fall in 24 hours. They had to bring in front loaders to clear the roads. I also found my 2nd dog one day on the way home from work so that's super sweet. He's awesome!!!

Here in CO, we're so happy. People are friendly, the weather is great, the roads are nice, the mountains are close. We're back closer to family and that's a nice thing as well. Been enjoying the local brews since we've been here. Like that a lot. :drunk:

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to seeing some of you guys around. I'm planning on dropping by the Toytec event Saturday so see some of you there. There's a fire station not far from my house that has 3 or 4 really nice lifted Tacos out front, and had a guy at a gas station today talk to me about my winch mount and I told him about this site. Its fun living in an area where people enjoy this stuff. :)
