back up light bulbs

i wanna upgrade the bulbs to something brighter
i thinking bout the Phillips 921 led bulbs
anyone have pics of them on/
let me know what yall think

 

I'm running some 921 leds from VLEDS. Don't have a pic, but they are bright and white.

LED conversion from incandescent suck a$$. I don't think the incandescent reflector is the right shape for the LEDs LED on the left, if you can't tell

So why are you trying to use interior LED's for exterior use? Check that thread I posted. Those bulbs are nice, and exterior bulbs.

 

The reverse bulbs are exterior of the same brand. The OP asked for opinions and pics. I gave mine. It's a crap shoot. Probably better off buying a whole LED taillight assembly.

 

I'm just trying to get all the info on your opinion. Check that thread for comparison pics, info, and my opinions on the Philips 921 bulbs the OP asked about.

I have these and love them, Had those other bulbs being sold on here and all the did was blink two weeks after changing them out. Even with replacement I was sent. I am in Myrtle Beach right now and can't take pics sorry

What do you think? Whiter/brighter/dimmer arguments aside... I do not see as well with the back up camera with the LEDs installed. Things seemed much better lit with the incandescent Silverstar 921s.

 

I'd say the camera is affected by the led light how ever it's not bad and you are now able to see more out of the mirrors.

 

But if you paid 23 U.S. For them you got ripped off! I paid 17 Canadian which is basically half what you paid lol

 

The back up cam is adjustable independent of the normal display. I played around wit it and got it working much better.
