Awesome! I can't wait to get it up and running. The new clutch should be here this week, once it's up and running I'll slowly start the mods.

I want to rebuild the suspension this winter. The stock springs are too soft, and I don't think the rear shock has ever been serviced. Does it just need a clutch?

I'd like a dirty toy like that, just a lack of legal places to ride near me, coupled with no one to ride with is stopping me. That and money.

Dual sports are fun, and you can find them pretty cheap, with low miles, since most people buy them and never use them. You could probably find trails to ride to in NH. Which is the best part of a dual sport. you don't need to transport it to and from the trail.

When I was riding my dual sport, there were a few legal places to ride near me (Oxford, MA). But I would ride down the road and used google earth to find a few shortcuts down the power lines. I ended up using it on the road more often than not so retired it and returned full time to the street bike. Plus, being a DR650, it was a beast off road and it was tough to maneuver through winding trials. Would go much smaller next time around - getting the itch to go with a DRZ400 supermoto.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Sweet! Last deployment I found a Lionel Ritchie stencil graphic online and used it as a watermark for official military correspondence.

As far as I can tell, just the clutch. I need to redo some of the wiring for the signals but it's all there. It starts and runs really smooth. When I do the tear down for the clutch, I'll check a bunch of other things like valves, suspension, I bought a new air filter also. I'll get the new clutch in it, take it for s shake down ride with some friends and see what's what.

Have you done any mods to yours? As far as I can tell, my suspension has been completely reworked with Racetech bits. I'm excited to get it on a trail.
I really have the urge to sumo the 350. Apparently it's really easy, lots of parts swap over from other bikes. I do really want a woods bike though so it's just a passing urge.

    Edit-
Also, I think it's hilarious that you've spent all morning talking about your new bike, even though your son was born hours ago...

    Second child syndrome, lol.
