I saw a really cool performance machined CV on a website recently and now I can't find it. Ring a bell with anyone? It was specifically for stock or mid travel setups and was not compatible with manual hubs I recall. Seems like it was a popular website for Tacomas.

 

I fear this is what I will find when I do mine. They have been clicking for a couple weeks now.

 

Replaced the 3rd Brake light, dome light, locking handle, and weather seal on my new (to me) shell.

Checked shipping info and my BAMF antenna bracket will be here tomorrow. Doing a little wheeling on Saturday, so need this to be ready.

 

RCV axles?

 

RCVs are great and all, but realize if you break something, it'll always be the weakest point in the system. So, if you strengthen your CVs, your diff is next.

I'd rather break a CV that takes 30 min to replace than grenade my diff.

tried out my new jack today

 

tried out my flex again with my leveling kit in and new bfg ko2 tires

 

Got a P0171 code yesterday, checked for vacuum lines, put fuel injector cleaner and cleaned the maf. I think it's my O2 sensor before the cat. But want your guys opinion.

When I'm at idle the revs are between 1500-1700. But when I get to speed and press the clutch while coming to a stop, the truck revs at 1500 drops to 500-750 then back to 1500 then back down to 500-750.

Let me know if I missed something or try something else out before a new O2 sensor. The O2 sensor I have now is a cheap chinese eBay no brand one. But it was a bday present from my brother.

 

If you have an ultra gauge/scan gauge you can read the voltage of the sensor.

 

Yea, the scanner I used did read voltages. Maybe it's my fuel filter. Could be to the point where it's reducing the fuel pressure or worse now I think about it it's my fuel pump about to go out.

I'm pretty happy with them so far. I was really happy with my old bfg ko tires. so thought why not upgrade to new ones if they have been nothing but good to me with the driving and type of off roading I do

 

I took off my camper shell for the 1st time in 2 years. My truck looks so different.

 

I'm gonna take mine off soon. after I get a rack setup in the back planned out. it looks so much better
