I have never run the OME so I can't really speak to if they are better. I have the current BOSS system and I do like them. I am curious about the 2.5 system and plan on asking some questions at the Open House on Saturday. From that I will see if it worth it to move up to the 2.5 system.

Plus I hear there might be a set given away during the Raffle on Saturday.

the reason I would go with the 2.5 is that they are rebuildable (~$100 each). Now for the rear, I think im gonna go with the 5160s. If you win them, I will buy them or your old ones from you...

Cutting them out is really the only option. Be prepare for a giant and expensive headache. Quite a few threads on here about it. DO NOT replace them with the MOOG greasable bolts, they are crap.

If you are due for LBJs, it is going to be MUCH easier to just replace the whole arm, try to find a used pair, or there are also a few non-OEM options, but I don't know anything about the quality of them.

I can't help you out with tools or a place to perform this job but I would love to come and watch and learn from the process when you do it if you're cool with that.

:goingcrazy: wheels will be here on friday. It's been long time waiting for a decent set. I'll most likely pick them up at the event.

So i've been searching for ET style open end 6 point lug nuts with no luck from google. Any one have any leads to where I can look online.

Edit again. Jason gave me a link to some lugs. I'm good.

Can't speak from a Tacoma stand point on the BOSS setup, but I had OME on both my Tacoma, and last Tundra. I am currently running a BOSS setup (front and rear) on my Tundra and have zero complaints.

Thats good to know, thanks Sean. Tanner at Toytec had nothing but great things to say about the 2.5s, said all the guys that can run them are at the shop, so that sells me on them. Im going to call them tomorrow and order some with Bilstein 5160s in the back

Does it even matter? You know @Ice Horse is winning it if a raffle is involved.
