You know you moved to a safe neighborhood when you get home at 7:30 pm to your garage door wide open since 5:30 am and not a thing is missing. Brand new mower and string trimmer in plan sight. Mig welder, huge toolbox loaded with tools, a full shelf of various Dewalt power tools and all your camping equipment visible from the street. Oh, and door into house was unlocked lol. Old location and nd I'd be on tools he phone with the insurance company for sure!

It is easier than you think. Get a pinion seal puller, drain the diff, remove the yolk and nut with impact gun, pop out the seal, put thin amount black rtv silicone around new seal, tap in place working your way around the edge softly with a rubber hammer or small dead blow, let sit over night, put yolk back on and torque to spec, fill diff back up and good to go! I've done a few in my day and if you were closer or willing to drive, I'd help you out no problem. Honestly, if you fill the diff and head over you'd be fine. Unless the thing is pouring out... but I assume it's more of a seap and the diff is wet?

You'd have to measure ATV... A small one maybe. My soft top height opening is 32"

Looking at an '08 T4R with the 4.7L V8. Will be trading in the Taco. Please forgive me all, family is growing and the regular cab with an infant won't work soon.

Now to my point, anyone have suggestions of common issues or what to look for? Same dealer has an '07 T4R with the 4.0L V6. Same mileage, same condition and price. I'm choosing V8 because MPG is basically the same but tq in the V8 is a lot more and tow rating is 1000lbs more. One day I hope to get a camper. Plus, you can never have enough tq on the trails!

I've lost maybe 2mm of fluid in a month and a half (measuring from where its supposed to be below the check plug).

I just don't want to spend the money right now. Mid $30k is a helluva truck payment. Looking at used 4runners to keep my payments down for now.

If its small enough to fit in that little girl bed of yours, it'll probably fit under the softtop

That's nothing. I was losing a quart every few hundred miles in my old Chevy before I forgot to check it for a while and then destroyed the ring and pinion pulling my box trailer. A $15 seal made me spend $300 for a rebuild kit and new ring and pinion.

If you're going to have a quad on the tailgate, might I recommend a tailgate cap and reinforcement skin? Hell, I know a guy that makes and sells them! He's a little shady, and many question his sexuality, but who am I to judge.

I just worry about not getting it right and either blowing another seal or tearing the bearings out and ruining the whole thing
