    Ahhhh...

That's the emissions air pump, which first showed up in the 2012 Tacomas.

It's literally there to be a fucking hindrance to us modders LOL.

But when you get the AFE intake it will come with a bracket to relocate that annoying little pump.

Sub'd! How has your ads setup held up living close to the ocean? I'm looking at ADS but I live in SC and don't really know how it'll stand up to the weather here. Any comments would be great.

Honestly, living 5 mins away from the ocean....the ADS finish is damn near flawless after almost 2 years with it now. Not even the slightest sign of rust or oxidation can be seen on all the shafts and shock bodies. I had Icons(even paying extra for the "IVD" all weather coating) on my previous Tacoma and not even 2 years went by and the shafts were showing a lot of discoloration/tarnish!

Not sure if you have Instagram, but Matt (@M C M) of MCM Fab posted a picture of a disassembled ADS coilover after 2 years of harsh Montana weather:

You'll be hard pressed to find customers who aren't ecstatic about their ADS setups. I don't see any reason to run anything else but ADS on my own pickups in the future. The person you'd wanna get in touch with is @M C M if you have any questions. He works very closely with ADS on their Toyota suspension development.

    So am I. :D

Yeah one major issue with the SC: I can't keep the skinny pedal off the floor.

Dig this build! We have a similar front setup. How have you liked the SUA? I'm going to pull that trigger on the TC kit soon I hope.
I already have 14" Kings. What size are your ADS?

    Thanks!

Love the SUA. No complaints on or off road with it. The TC kit is very nice as well. At the time i got my Defined SUA, the TC wasn't on the market yet otherwise I probably would gave gone with the TC kit since that's what I'm running up front.

The rear ADS are 10" stroke shocks.
