Anyone run a bed rack with LT? Trying to see what would work with the bedsides. Trying to carry 2, 14' race boards and don't want to put racks on my daily.

I've got that one thing, and that other one thing, oh yeah and that other other one thing.
Could make a meet out of it. I'll send out a message the week of, we only have 3 weekends before we have to go back and I know that Thanksgiving is out of the question this year. Pretty sure we are planning first weekend of November and 3rd weekend, but that's subject to change on how much shit we break.

Got the 16" triples back instead of the 14". Mounting on a basic bedcage, not sure yet if inside or outside the frame rails. Can one of you guys please suggest how to mount these to the bed cage? I have lower shock mounts for the axle but am unclear on what all I need for the top, and from where?

    Thx

For starters, you going to need basically an entire bed cage to mount the shocks. and you can't really just throw them on it hope for the best. If those shops aren't close to where the sweet spot is, it could become a little difficult to valve them properly. If I were you, I'd spend the next few days at least just reading everything and anything you can about shot placement for a leaf spring application.

I've been looking for a while and I can only find ET style in a closed end but they are tall. And acorn style open end. Will the tall closed end work or do you have any leads for an open end?

Any suggested reads? I've been researching for a bit. Already have my tube bent for the cage. And I get the sweet spot and how you map it out with full droop and stuff and where the lines intersect. Its not going to be easy i understand. I want suggestions on how to mount the shock upper to the cage for now. Is there a kit I can get or something that can help with getting the upper shock mount secured to the cage or do I just fab something up?

I think just shock tabs mounted at the right location and then gusset the somehow...or build a good box with holes drilled to run a bolt through for the shock bolt and make sure its nice and gusseted into the cage

    Stuff and junk and things...

I can help you with building the bed cage, I'm in Thornton, CO. Do you have LT leafs to install too? I can draw and CNC cut what ever parts you need.

Fuckin' holy shit yeah! I got everything bro, ready to go. Perches, hangers, 12" shackles, bash plates, deavers, etc.....

Did one side last night after work, its like half mounted. These were sort of a pain to mount in the tail light end but they are getting there.

I was hoping to run the stock axle to make things easier and run maybe 2 inch spacers plus my wheels are negative offset I think three and a half inches. if I have to I might find a Ford 9 inch or an Econoline axle but I really wanted to keep the simplicity of the e locker. the guy at solo Motorsports has done several Tacomas and even owns a few and has ran shocks outside the frame rail on the stock axle.I would like to run 35 inch tires relying on the turbo with the 4.10 stock gearing.

cut that front bumper in half in the middle, widen it, and add a skid. it'll look damn good and match the width of the glass.
