With Labor Day coming up, I'll be keeping my eye out for some sales. I've got 3+ big mods planned for the truck, but haven't been able to decide what order I want to do them in:

    - sliders
    - suspension
    - rear locker
    - other(s) (e.g., bumpers, skids, etc.)

All on a stock 2015 4x4 SR5 with 265/75r16 tires. It's my DD, but I plan on taking it out 2-3x a year for some west Texas offroading.

I'm leaning toward sliders first, as they seem most practical (protection, and double as steps). Also, cheapest (~$400 shipped minus any Labor Day savings)

Locker seems like the next-most-functional mod on the list; but also likely the most expensive. ARB + compressor + install would probably be around $1500 (again, minus Labor Day savings, if any).

I'm thinking suspension is the last on the list in terms of practicality, but I want to know what you guys think.

Also, what Labor Day deals are you holding out for?

    • Fox 2.0 rears
    • upper control arms
    • 275-70-18 general grabbers or toyo rt
    • BHLM
    • led fogs
    • Bed lighting
    • side lights
    • rear bumper with flush mount pods
    • finish ottrattw switches
    • sos concept sliders
Thats my goal for this year... :goingcrazy:

Also thats kinda in a order...

So I'm going suspension and tires before sliders...
I got the TRD off road for the locker, however Idk if i could justify spending that much on a aftermarket one...
In my head I need suspension and tires before even hitting the trails, then sliders to protect me on the trails then maybe a locker to get up the really hard trails?

I'm waiting on my bonus check from work. As soon as that hits the bank, it's off to the tire store. I've got my choices narrowed down to 2. It all depends on what mood I'm in the day the money gets here....DuraTracs or KO2's, (285/75/r16) Hopefully that'll happen in the next week or so.

After that, the wish list is as follows; 1st, Sliders. Haven't made a choice yet, but they will be bolt on's. Then a US Off Road winch mount and a Warn winch (yet to decide on model)

Probably gonna stop (for a while) at that point. CFO/Wife will inform me of my opinion @ that time.
