6 quarts of oil? Prob? No biggie?

    No leaks in mine. Have had it on for about a month. I know that there are other people that have had it on much longer than I have.

    If the PVC System is working you will never have anywhere near excessive crank case pressure.

    And a half a quart is certainly never going to do it.

    While yes this is true, I am used to high revving small motors where half a quart could be a demise.

    That stated though.... the extra half quart you probably loose some MPG's due to extra oil height and the crank having to splash through more oil.

    A Barq's Root Beer bottle works. Never had the oil melt through or anything, and I've changed the oil immediately after driving the truck many times.

    Maybe on a lawnmower engine without an oil pump using a splash oiling system.

    On every car / truck engine that I know of the crankshaft should never splash through the oil. If it does it is several quarts overfilled.

    If the oil splashed through the oil with every stroke it would be like beating whipping cream. Soon the oil pump would be sucking foam lose suction and the engine would then proceed to wipe all the bearings.

    Seriously not trying to be a dick. Just the facts.
