AZ BS Thread 2.0

Anyone plan on attending the AZ Off Road & Sand Expo next month, September 25th-27th? Sucks I may only be able to make the first day which is from 5-9pm

 

I heard about this a few weeks ago but haven't seen anything since. If its not too expensive I'd like to go. It's at Westworld right?

 

Yep, I've seen $20 a ticket but apparently on their website you can find tickets cheaper at participating stores and such. Saturday seems to be the big day 9am-5p but I'll be out doing other things that day. Was thinking of heading up there with ADS on Friday night

 

I'll find some tickets and go check it out.

Got the URD Y and Catback on now! The exhaust was cut back for higher clearance and he added a V band flange so it would connect to the Y pipe!

 

Why don't you start a build thread?

 

I don't think I have enough modifications yet to start one.. What's wrong Jon you don't like me posting about it in the BS thread?

 

Not at all mang. Post in LTBS for all I care. I'm just saying that a build thread is nice to collect all these little mod pics for when people start asking.

I am just busting your balls homie! I have a private FB album called truck stuff that is a storage tank for all these photos when I do make a build thread in the near future. I just gets excited and wants to share with youse guys

 

Exhaust looks clean though! I cut mine behind the spare also and was looking for a cleaner turn down pipe.

 

@Prise I like the exhaust. How much does clearance does that provide under the transfer case? Will it allow for a smooth belly or do you still need none smooth skids to clear?

This Y-pipe actually doesn't go under the T case at all it goes under the drive shaft for the front wheels though and there's about 3-4" of clearance in between them. As for skids I shouldn't have a problem running a smooth belly setup the Y sits above everything.

Hahaha yeah I had that y-pipe for like a year now, but it's been worth the wait. A lot better than the DT pipe bomb.

 

New guy here. I live in N PHX and just got my first Tacoma. I am looking for places to get out in the dirt with my 5 year old son. He and I just took the East side of Horseshoe to the Sheep Bridge. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

 

Welcome! Good start on your adventures. Give the back way to Crown King a try. If you are 4x4 you can hit up some of the off camber bypasses but not all unless you have some kind of lift.
