Damn, the Fear the Walking Dead premiere was the highest viewed show on all of cable television! 10.9 million people tuned in and it shattered all records. Great numbers for the "spin-off"! It was a slow burn pilot, so let's see what next weeks numbers look like. So far, that's an excellent start. No wonder AMC greenlit a second season way before the first even started. There must have been very strong early viewing results.

I know it might be a funny thing to notice, but the music score is really cool in this series. Better than Walking Dead.

I really enjoyed the episode. Glad to have something good to keep me occupied till TWD starts up. I didn't find Nick annoying at all, he played the part well I thought. I was more annoyed with middle class folk venturing in to a drug den with nothing more than a flashlight. This is L.A. right? What idiot goes alone at night to an abandoned building looking around?

Pretty good first show. It is slow, but I like the idea of taking it from first victim to masses idea. One at a time. Hope Nick doesn't last as long as Carl. The one guy needs to get rid of the old white truck and get a Tacoma.T4C0CH40S truck would fit in good although his Zombie Apocolypse build is altered now. LOL

There probably won't be any preppers. I think Kirkman said he wanted it to feel like nobody in the show has seen a zombie movie.

Yeah, I think he's either a victim or trying to take care of someone that is a victim. However, he probably would have answered the texts, so yeah, probably dead. lol

On another board they were referring him to young Johnny Depp and indicating that when Nick stole the old man's clothes and walked out of the hospital, he was a regular Hunter S. Thompson. :D That happened to be totally accurate. I wonder if the actor did his research for his role by watching some Fear and Loathing.

TWD loved to foreshadow so I feel confident he will be a big deal, she will most likely be cornered by him and have to kill him and it will be all emotional...

I thought the same exact thing!! Especially when he walked into the diner, all tweaker-like. If he didn't do any research, I'd say that was a pretty damn big coincidence! lol
