I guess that's true in some case but have you done any Co-op or internship yet? While I was in school...all I did was go to school. I didn't apply anything that I learned to anything at the moment. Kind of makes me forget many things. And now my current job doesn't even really requires to know what I learned in school. If you know Excel and Access...pretty much good to go.

Yeah today it my early day 7:45-5:15. That wouldn't be nice to have one extra week off during X-Mass. I'm jealouse. I work retail so that is my busy time. I usually try to get a couple of days off.. but it probably wont happen...

Another long day. I actually have most of my work done. Next is filing away. I guess moving around is better than sitting down. Burning 2 more calories per hour?

If I wasn't going on Vacation today I think I would go crazy. Our computer system is down today... Which means for every transaction I have to handwrite a receipt... and the customers are being so nice because it my fault the computers are offline.

LOL that stinks. Do you then have to enter all of them into the system later? I have done the same thing in the past when students paid for things while the system was down. Double the work because of IT failure.

I would rather work earlier because the sun sets so soon up here. The day ends like at 4:30 in the winter! Yesterday when I was watching the news, San Francisco was still bright as hell when it was like 8PM (western).

yeah I have a stack of transactions here that are piling up. This is the longest we have been off line. Usually its only for about 5-10 min, and I'm going on about an hour... Cannot wait for my trip... Thats about the only think keeping me sane!

Wow you have the slave shifts. You work almost 12 hours/day.

I work for the state and they're considering a 4 day work week. Not a bad idea.

Yeah I hear you on that one, especially when it's super cold outside in the winter. I remember when watching the news before going to school and it was single digit temperature outside. Nothing compared to Canada but still, it's EFFING COLD!

Stewie Griffin, "I hate you guys (San Deigo folks with the warm weather :p)" Seriously, how cold does it get there?
