I purchased an extra set of cleats to mount the bars to, and when I need to remove the bars, I just remove the rail end caps, and slide the cleats and bars off together.

So how many bikes do you think these bars could hold? I've got a group of five that I ride with all the time and it would be cool if I could carry all 5 bikes one these rails. Or do you think I would get the heavy duty ones.

Five bikes has been done with these. If you want rock solid carrying, get the XRXS or HD bars.

My website will take care of combining the shipping. It's based mostly on weight.

Got my set of bed bars from KBVoodoo and mounted my Yakima load warrior to them. Works great, fantastic product, great seller. All around positive experience.

I was able to sit in the Yakima and I'm 180lbs. I felt that if anything were to break it wold be the bed cleats before the KbVoodoo bed bars.

    I highly recommend KbVoodoo products!

    Love your products bud!

Im wondering if you could make a better solution to this problem???

I haul plywood, panel boards ect quite often.... But also carry kayaks and small boats as well.... About to purchase a small boat thats 50" wide....

But i would rather the boards i carry NOT sit above the bed of the truck, or block view from the back window, like the normal racks, but still have their look and strength.

Please excuse my horrible paint skills!! But this should show my idea... I dont know how difficult it would be but "simply" dropping these bars down ~8" to the spot where the plank sits would be great.... It would keep them secure and look better than a beat up 2x8. Then multiple full sheets of plywood would be no problems and NOT block view from the rear window and small boats would fit easier as well.

It could also be incorporated with the top bar too... That would create a "cage" for boards. But personally id want to be able to remove the top bar so i could haul MORE.

Not sure if this is something you'd even want to do but i just had to ask!!! Thanks for your time either way :D
