All true. But go synthetic. The benefits far outweigh the negatives. :)

I'm agreeing with him, lol. Just saying that synthetic is better in the long run to help with your decision. :)
    Edit
I ran cable for a few years, it worked fine, ran a few wire slivers through my hand, dealt with kinked cable and also the jammed cable from being in a hurry and spooling it in sloppy. Bought the synthetic and never looked back.

Let's try this one more time: Looking for a passenger side mirror for a 2nd gen Tacoma. Either the ABS base style or Pyrite Mica if you have either laying around. Looking for cheap/free as mine works fine but has some gouges in it from the previous owner. It's not worth a boat load to me to make it look perfect but if you have something collecting dust, let me know. Ideally we could meet up at the Toytec event on Saturday to ease the transaction.

    Thanks!

Anyone lugging one around as a spare? I'd be happy to buy it to get my truck back on the road and then I could replace it whenever a set pops up?

I'll bring it to the Toytec event unless you find a replacement before then
