What kind of bed bar is that and where can I buy one??

 

I did clean the maf thinking it was dirty. But looking around for a leaking vacuum line. I found some brake fluid sprayed around. And does those 2 metal caps supposed to be really loose. Feels like they could pop off.

Ah ok, then there's something going on there that is leaking. Will have to look at it in the morning to see where exactly.

Is it because the shocks are shit? Or to expensive for the short use

 

If you know you are lifting in 10,000 miles why not just run the shocks till then? Sure it won't handle like a race truck but it's only 10,000 miles.

 

Save your money for the lift.

My shocks had over 170,000 miles on them before I replaced them when I put a new suspension on. I don't recommend that but another 10,000 miles is fine to ride it as is.

Plus, I'm not sure how you measure when you will put a new lift on by mileage and not date/time.

 

They are not much better than oem imo, cost to benefit ratio.

 

I might have one like that for sale. Just took it off my truck to put a shell on. Haven't decided if I am going to sell it or not.

And like Madjik said. I ran my front coilovers till 200k and my rears to about 180.

 

If memory serves me correct I had a set of skyjacker shocks in the back of my 2000 tacoma. Thing rode like the suspension was made out of solid steel. No absorption at all.

I did this exact mod, and after about 1000 miles, I had barely a teaspoon of oil/sludge in the glass container. Not sure if its worth cluttering up the engine compartment.

 

I like the idea, but that is the pre throttle plate PCV. The rear hose that goes right into the intake plenum is has manifold vacuum pulling through it and i expect this is where a majority of the oil is getting into the intake. If you hook it up to that one, i bet youll get some oil in there.

Also, how the did you get the valve cover to look so clean.
