    Hi guys.

I searched around last night, but thought I'd ask. What is recommended for the rear doors? I was trying to put something together at crutchfield, but when I select rear doors it gives me just a few component sets.

For the fronts I was thinking about JL Audio TR600-CXi Evolution™ TR Series 6-1/2" 2-way car speakers. Does anyone have any input on these verse others in the 150ish price range? Or would I be sorry I didn't just get the Image Dynamics CTX65CS Component Speakers that everyone seems to be getting from *********?

Would that same JL 6 1/2" fit in my rear doors, or no?

What would you guys suggest for non-amplified replacement speakers for around 300-400 total?

    Thanks for any advice!

You wouldnt happen to work at Roundy's would you?

Any how, I personally do not like the JL component speakers whatsoever. I truly feel the CTX's are the way to go, there isnt anything out there for the money IMO that compete.

Nice - Thanks for the input.

No, I don't work at Roundy's - But they sure do have a HUGE facility here. I live in the burbs and commute to the Milwaukee area for work.

So the Image Dynamics CTX65CS components in the front and the CTX65's in the back would be best bang for the buck at or around $400?

How do you happen to know about Roundy's?

I do alot of business with them, i'm in the produce as in fruits and vegetable business.

Personally I would just do the front speakers and invest in something else. I would spend the $200 on the speakers and the other $200 on an amp to run them. Feel free to pm me and I will be more than happy to discuss it with you.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Go listen to some speakers. If you like them. Buy them. They make baffles for components or coax for your year. I love my XR components in my 02. As long as you like the sound of the speakers you listen too. Buy them. Then can be Sony to JL to Polk to Infinity to CDT to Morel. We all have different listening taste. Very hard to suggest something for someone because I may love it but it may sound terrible for you.

that'ts the best advice yet...and whatever you do, don't buy something online without listening, especially based on price...people get caught up in price and think more expensive is better. not always true.

The set from taco tunes are so solid they give a better sound. Kicker makes an outstanding set of 6.5
