is it possible to run a 305/75/16 with a 4 in lift? how much trimming will need to be done?

5% tint all around, Alpine IVA-W505, 16x8 Mojave Teflon Rims w/Hercules Terra Trac 265/75, Grillcraft Grill, Slimcubby HIDs, Front 5100's @ 0 w/Eibach 1.6" springs, URD Short Shifter, Extang Trifecta Tonneau Cover, Uniden Pro510XL and K30Mag Mount, Relentless Fab Bumper soon to come
305/75/16 is a 34" tall, 12" wide tire... i don't even think they will fit on stock rims. stock rims are only 7" and you would have huge rubbing issues without wheel spacers and still likely have to do major trimming. not 100% on a first gen but for sure on a 2nd gen taco

Why not just go with 285/75/16 33"tire, It will look good with the 4" lift.
Also what are u doing to get a 4" lift.

305-70-16 and 315-75-16 will fit on a 4" drop bracket lift on the first gen trucks... while the geometry of the lift will keep the sidewall away from the UCA, you may end up with rub on the frame rails at full turn and articulation... your best bet is to run 4.25" or 4" backspace...

285-75-16 will fit on a 3" suspension lift with a backspace of 4"

the first gen trucks are completely different in wheel well clearance than the newer gen trucks...

yah, u would think that when they built a bigger tacoma, they would have designed a lil more clearance or proportionately the same as the first gen tacos...
