I am still trying to figure out why that guy used a dual battery switch for each battery. And should I be getting a switch with the "alternator field disconnect"?

Installed some roof racks today, definitely was a bit of a pain in the ass. Mass produced part with mass produced vehicle = not everything lining up perfectly. Only had one of the little torx bits strip out and luckily it was on the bracket, not the cab. So I can drill it out and just put a nut and bolt through it. It has a slight gap on the front drivers side but I suspect thats because that stripped torx bit isn't torqued down all the way.

I can take a quick video of it and email it if you guys want..don't have YouTube account.
I found that those vids never really sound like they do in person though esp when taken with a phone.

    Just pm your email address

I did every oil change on my 2010 and 2012 Tacoma's. Easy. Enjoyed it.
This time I'm going the lazy old man route. :D

Got 6 cans from Lowes. How'd you go about prepping the underbody?

    Yes.
I installed the first of two Portable Suns I'm intending to put on the front of my truck. Still need to get the wiring harness installed or I'd include a lighted shot.

I anticipate pulling this off in the next six months as I'll be installing a plate bumper, but for now. Driving on the beach at night will be less terrifying.
