So I just schedule to have my truck looked at next week when my local custom shop re-opens (new facility). They said I should have them recheck tightness on everything after 500 miles. I've also been experiencing a squeaky sound on the front driver suspension for over a week now. Front passenger side doesn't do it. Not sure what I should be looking at or if it's a big deal that I should try to identify prior to my visit next week.

Bushings? Shock absorber? Anyone have ideas? :)

I have OME 887's, Nitrocharger Sport Shocks, and LR UCA's up front.

"This complete Old Man Emu suspension kit is engineered to improve ride and handling while providing approximately 2 inches of suspension lift to a stock Toyota Tacoma."

That's with 885 coils. I suppose 2.5" could be interpreted as approximately 2"

50 mm on 885's with up to 50kg

    50 mm on 886's with 51 - 100kg

The height has to be established with the maximum weight otherwise it makes no sense

Front bilstein 5100 with OME 884 w/trim pack, 17" fuel trophy wheels wrapped with 32" toyot open country m/t, bakflip fibermax tonneau cover, Avec 30" led light bar behind lower grille, marathon seat covers in max 5 camo pattern, trimmed front and rear mud flaps, more to come.

was that 1.75 with 5100 and OEM springs? I ask because I had that set up and it drove like shit. truck was all over the road. that's why I went with the coil lift instead and it solved my problems big time. before it was kind of scary to drive on the interstate. I can handle older trucks that have play in the steering wheel but when your truck likes to follow the road on its own is a different story ha. my guess with the pour outcome with the 5100 set at 1.75 is there is not much give to give if that makes sense. also when you get your alignment try to get them to make your camber as close to zero and pull as much caster as possible. that helped a lot to.

It was not. I had two different techs try at the tire shop where I bought my Duratracs and one tech at a different tire shop try an as well. They all told me I would have to live with the positive camber if I wanted the increased caster. I plan to get new UCAs soon, but maybe I'll take it to an off road shop before I do. Thanks for the info.

Yea I would def do that first because some alignment shops will not do what you want them to (or can't figure it out) but most off road shops will. if anything the caster is ok and probably the most you are going to get out of OEM UCA but tell them you want 0 camber and as min toe as you want which I doe know you want some toe but not camel!! that is for the tire wear. good luck and I hope it works out. but I will say I will be getting UCA sometime down the road but not right now because it drives fine to me with almost perfect tire wear also!

    Yep!

Drives better with 884s but not a ton of difference between the two in general because (I assume) I could have benefitted from new UCAs even at 1.75".

OME rides far better but there are some driving characteristics that remain from the previous setup that an "as good as it can be" alignment didn't fix.

    I'm limited by the UCAs.

I totally agree. It just depends on how much you want to put up with it I guess haha. but im fine for now anyways. Like I said one day I will get LR UCA but it's not at the top of my list as of right now. But the mod bug changes from day to day so who knows!

No reason to remove it. Unless you want to debate sway bar necessity like the others who have done so, in hell.

I didn't need to relocate mine.
