On 1st gens you have to grind the back a bit to get it to fit.

Oic, I guess LSC15 did that and I didn't notice the difference. It must be pretty minor tho compared to the FXR install.

I never grinded mine down. I think it really depends on what you use to tighten the nut, and whether or not you get the newer nuts. But basically it's just enough to make it a flat surface

The second gen headlights you have to grind all the way down to a flat surface like the link at beginning of this thread. It's the only way to get the projector nice and tight. You have to cut away some on the first gens if you are using the hex nuts on the d2s but TRS also sends a silver circular nut that you can use on first gens that doesn't require any cutting

Hmm, I don't like the idea of sanding down new lights, but I also don't like the idea of loose lights.

Well it's either one or the other. All you doin is sanding down the back of the reflector. Not bad

It's ongoing and no count to be achieved.

    1) Place Order
    2) Order Ships
    3) Enjoy new headlights

That's good to know. Waisted a bunch of money with laminx. I bought the kit and tried (failed) and then I pail a tinting company and they failed and lost $170 since they got damaged during shipping and the tinter only had $500 insurance

Hey Andrew, hopefully you can help with this. I ordered my kit, D2S with XSB halos and cant wait to start moding. I was going over the wiring schematics on the TRS website on wiring the halos. My questions are as follows:
    1) do you know how to wire the white halo so it turns off when the headlights are on?
    2) is there a way to wire the system to turn the headlight off when the blinker is on?
essentially if I turn my switch to the dtrl or parking light mod, I want the white halo on and when the blinker is on the white turns off, which I believe is the switchback function. when I turn my headlights on I want the white halo off and when I hit the blinker it turns the headlight off and the amber halo blinks. Hopefully this makes sense and you can help me out trying to figure it out. I appreciate any and all inputs. Thanks guys.

and just in case, I have a 2013 DCSB OR, ordering the cs jumper dtrl white/amber lights as well, just to mix it up and i have the anytime fog light mod completed. thanks again.
