Skip the floor mats and get yourself fitted WeatherTech when they become available. They hold the wetness and crap in place and it won't spill over onto the carpet.

If you're paying that much, makes me cringe to find out how much Toyota Canada is gonna screw us up here. C'mon Ford, bring on the Ranger.. more competition is beneficial to consumers.

Don't forget you're paying an early adopter premium; supply / demand. You may want to wait till next year when dealers will have unsold trucks on the lot, then you can wheel and deal a bit more.

    Wtf. How is that unethical?
What's the difference of being in a Blind on your property vs being in your truck on your property?

I bought a 15 for the same reasons....But I will give the dealer a chance to sell me a 16. He said <$10K and my truck buys a LTD........I doubt it. Thankfully I love my truck as is. But will buy a 16 version with Premium and tech for an additional $6000.

40K... Just can't do it. What's the price of a similarly equipped 2016 Tundra? I'm asking, what is the price difference between Toyota's two trucks.

Or you wait 6 - 12 months before purchasing a new generation. They know anyone shopping for a vehicle before it's on the showroom floor (esp for a new gen) really wants one. The buyer has no negotiating power at this point. The dealer has the upper hand. I say wait til the dust settles to the let the price level out and any type of problem gets ironed out before. Let someone else be the guinea pig.

Don't forget the destination charge went up $900. The base on mine is $34.
Not going to disagree on that. I will walk away if they are unwilling to negotiate down a little or at least give me a reach around. Maybe take me to dinner first before plowing my ass.

I actually used to spotlight (but not shoot) the edges of my properties pre season to get an idea of where they are moving /at night. It's a good way to scope out a property when you don't feel like dropping off thousands of dollars in trail cameras. Flir makes this much easier now. Some people also think sitting in a tree stand over a pile of corn is unethical but that is probably the majority of deer hunters that use that technique. I'd only actually take a shot if it was coming right for me.

I can't find a gm twin with comparable features in inventory for under $38k. I know they are supposed to be marking them down but I'm not seeing that. I've had enough bad experience w them and seen friends gm trucks barely make to 8 years despite being well maintained. Ford? I can get the price close w xplan. There are some nice deals on tundras but I want something that my wife can handle that is parkable and can fit in my garage. I don't see these trucks getting much cheaper. It's not like the currency is set to appreciate .

Not sure what it's like elsewhere, but I was quoted $1800 off MSRP for a 4x4 TSS DC SB with towing package...which is more than I'm getting off of a 2015. Now, I don't really know what MSRP is on the TSS, so I might be getting some smoke blown up my ass. I didn't indicate that I was looking at 2016s.

"The initial production is built with V6 Tow Package and TSS in a 4X4 Double Cab Short Bed. MSRP is $36,055 + TTL. Your Special Internet Price including all discounts is $34,209 + TTL."

    Thinking about it...

31,060 + 650...that's an expensive TSS package, assuming there were no other options.

38k for a tacoma???? That is ridiculous for a midsize truck! I mean I can stomach 35k for a fully loaded one but 38 for a short bed is not going to make me want one. Way to drive the price up toyota! Might as well buy a 4Runner for that kind of money.
