    In 2010 they decided to change to the current cup holders. The grooves are still the same as the 2005's and I have the one from e-bay and it fits my 2015 just like it did in my 2007.

    for me, it doesn't hold a Nalgene Water Bottle and the Contigo water bottle as well as my coffee mug fit so snug it makes the rubber inserts stick to the bottom of my cup/bottle/mug. Funny enough, my wife was the one that finally said I need to fix it.

    Yea, I can see how they wouldn't be good for those. I've never had a car that worked well for any of those drinking containers you've mentioned. I typically only put cups from fast food places in them and I've learned to twist as I'm pulling up to keep from pulling the rubber out.
