New Brake shoes? Why do you need new ones? Unless they're bad of course. Also why new u-bolts? I've never had to cut mine off before.

Don't need new ubolts. But have spares just in case. I know mine are rusted out right now. They won't be out back on if I take them off lol

Well the rule of thumb is. You change it inspect it every two front brake pad change. If they are still good, then keep them. But new onesaare only 20 bucks or so.

you were talking about new u-bolts

at this point, you would not get some in on time for the meet....so a plave that MAKES u-bolts would be your best bet, custom or not.

If the ones on the axle from Codys are still good then I'd say keep them, we will have the drums apart to change the parking brake so we can check them. If you need new ones then like Dennis said, $20-$30 at the nearest auto store. I changed mine at 180k and they were the original from the factory and honestly still had some life in them, but I said heff it and changed them anyways.

I've got 4 spare u-bolts if you end up needing them, they're about 2" over stock, but we can cut them down if needed.

Also just my .o2 cents, take it or leave it, if we have enough people then we can split up into "teams" and one do the 3rd, one pull the axle and one maybe work on the wiring. We need a decent group of people though, there needs to be 1 designated beer drinker/finger pointer/wrench getter (Dennis), 1 observer (Juan), and 1 person wrenching in between pizza breaks
