I'm very interested in this. Read through the entire 'original' 05-11 dev thread and was hugely disappointed that it was discontinued. Fortunately someone linked to this new build.

Sorry for the delay. Between redesign and our move...

Finished CAD today and off to the laser. Here is a teaser from Solid Works... no welds shown so there are gaps but you get the idea. One more quick test fit and we are good to go.

 

In case you need a volunteer to see if it fits the same on a truck that's in Kentucky, I'm all yours!

 

Are you still based out of Texas? I'm in Colorado but make the drive down to Austin once every couple of months for a long weekend. If you find yourself without a willing victim test subject perhaps we can arrange something.

Yoi should partner up with him and arrange a group buy/delivery to CO! You could save some peeps money on shipping and probably end up saving yourself quite a bit on your winch mount! If timing is right i'd be in!

 

IF there is a couple people dedicated to this product that are in the CO area, I would love to jump on some kind of group buy with the rest of you if possible. I am in WA but if I could make a connection with someone, maybe you could dogleg the bumper to me when they arrive or I could come make a trip to CO for a week and pick it up!? All in all I guess we can wait and see what the production quantities are going to be and if the company does a group buy to everyone on the forum.

 

Next trip to Austin is at the end of Oct. Was considering flying this time since its a shorter visit but could extend and drive down if there's good reason to.

@bigbirch887 - funny you mention WA, I'm there a lot on business as well but always fly, drive is too far to justify it. There's a 33% chance I'll be moving to Seattle but that wouldn't be until next August.

 

Ok... CAD is finished and at the machine shop. Hope to have the production grade prototype in the next week or so. Still would like to find someone in the DFW/Granbury area for a final test fit in a week or two here at our shop.
